There are 2 case scenarios for the failed ASN alerts.
Case 1: No ASNs failed (Failed ASN report 0 ASNs failed out of ...)
This is a notification we can ignore, since there are no errors.
Create/Run the following scenario:
- Add Tags: FAILED ASN REPORT, 856
- Assign Group/Agent: Data-Support/[yourself]
- Set type: Service Request
- Add Note (as private note): 0 ASN's failed. No action.
- Set Status: Closed
Case 2: Some ASNs failed.
- Add Tags: FAILED ASN REPORT, 856
- Assign Group/Agent: Data-Support/[yourself]
- Set type: Service Request
Each ASN might have failed for a different reason.
Usually, these errors are corrected in other tickets. Searching for related tickets by SO# is the best start.
If all related tickets are found, add a note with the links and close the ticket.
If no related ticket exists, you'll need to dig into the issue. It is usually because the ASN was never sent. The solution is to generate the ASN from the 945 and send it.
